WORKSHOP: Watercolor with Jim Nelson

The Desert Art Center is proud to host a two-day workshop taught by Jim Nelson, a retired biochemist and student of Charles Reid for 25 years. Join us on April 13th and 14th, 2024 to learn how to paint in a loose impressionistic style. This workshop will focus on watercolor portrait painting techniques. In the morning, Jim will demonstrate his techniques, followed by lunch and then an afternoon of painting for the students. A suggested supply list will be sent to students in advance to ensure they are well prepared for this exciting opportunity.
