The 18th Annual Juried Art Show opening reception will take place at the Desert Art Center.

The awards presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.

The City of Palm Springs initiated the Annual Juried Art Show, eighteen years ago, in order to showcase unique and original artwork created by the skilled and experienced artists of our diverse community. This year’s theme asks artists to create a new work which imparts, recreates or envisions their unique perception of our desert environment. Beyond the landscape, beyond the books, there are many ways to depict a tale of the surrounding landscape.

Desert Art Center has served as a creative hub in Palm Springs since 1950. Located in the historic Frances Stevens School at the gateway to the Uptown Design District, we offer exhibits, art education, and community outreach programs to support artists of all ages and levels.
