Art in Action: Under the Eaves

Art in Action: Under the Eaves is a series of live events held at the Desert Art Center, where up to 12 DAC members demonstrate their skills in front of an audience. Everyone is invited to come and see these talented artists at work, but only DAC members may participate. There is no admission charge and completed artworks are for sale.

Info for DAC Members:
This spring 2017 offers the opportunity for all members of the Desert Art Center to participate.  For $25, all members—new members, old members, juried and non-juried—may sign up to participate on selected Saturdays throughout the season. Participants demonstrate their art as well as promote their art without the usual commission to the DAC.

How do these Saturdays work? 
Participants bring their own set up: tables, chairs, easels, before 10 a.m. and take down their booths by 2:30 p.m. The front of the DAC is available to all members on a first-come-first-serve basis. Twelve spots are available each selected Saturday and participants can pay and then pick up their receipts at the inside desk when the DAC opens.
