Artist Reception: "Light of the Desert" featuring Vaughan Davies

Desert Art Center gallery is excited to present the work of our featured artist Vaughan Davies in  his first show "Light of the Desert" in our small gallery.  Please join us!

Vaughan  is a prolific artist with a passion for interpreting his surroundings in paintings and sketches. His current exhibition of work, primarily in watercolor, reveals the ever-changing light of the desert, sometimes in its mono-chromatic shapes and textures and at other times in vivid color. Vaughan has lived, studied and taught in South Africa, the UK and Italy and has made Palm Springs his home in recent years.
