How to Approach Abstract Art

At 2pm there will be a painting demonstration by Julianna Poldi who works in acrylics in an abstract style. Julianna is an established artist and one of our DAC teachers who finds inspiration in the mountains, desert and skies.

Abstract art is real. As with poetry or classical music, it engages the imagination and offers us a new perspective of reality. Join us Saturday April 21 and experience firsthand the beauty of abstract painting. Demonstration and lecture that will include simple exercises to enhance our understanding of abstract painting. 

This will be followed at 3pm by the Spring members meeting which is an important occasion as it will include the election of our Officers and Board for the next two years. All members of the DAC are asked to attend.
