How to Approach Abstract Art

Julianna Poldi is a Desert Art Center artist and teacher.  She is an award winning artist with current gallery representation in California and New York.  Julianna holds an MFA in Arts and Consciousness from John F Kennedy University.  She teaches abstract acrylic painting with a method developed while working at her Canyon Road Studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  

Abstract art is real. As with poetry or classical music, it engages the imagination and offers us a new perspective of reality. Join us Saturday April 21 and experience firsthand the beauty of abstract painting. Demonstration and lecture that will include simple exercises to enhance our understanding of abstract painting. 

3pm Spring Members Meeting at 3pm. This will be an important meeting as it will include the election of officers for the next two years.
