The ticket price is $10; kids 16 and under are free, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Art for Kids Day is a fundraiser to benefit the Desert Art Center’s Middle School Art Project and other educational outreach and scholarship programs.

Art for Kids Day is co-sponsored by Palm Springs Unified School District and Palm Springs Art Museum.

The Middle School Art Project provides supplemental arts education to 60-80 students annually, from local schools with little or no art resources. Classes in clay, drawing, watercolor and printmaking are given in the Desert Art Center auditorium beginning in November through February. Students are recommended by their teachers based on their interest and talent in the visual arts.

Desert Art Center has served as a creative hub in Palm Springs since 1950. Located in the historic Frances Stevens School at the gateway to the Uptown Design District, we offer exhibits, art education, and community outreach programs to support artists of all ages and levels.
