Bus Tour to The Cheech

The Desert Art Center is excited to invite you to join us for a field trip to The Cheech on Thursday, November 30th! For the price of $75 per ticket, you will get a chance to explore The Cheech, the newest addition to the vibrant art scene of Inland Southern California. This includes the bus ride and the ticket to The Cheech itself, giving you approximately 5 hours to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Chicano art.

Located in the heart of Riverside's downtown historic core, The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture is an essential destination for art enthusiasts and novices alike. It boasts the best private collection of Chicano art in the United States, providing a unique opportunity for our students and faculty from five local colleges and universities to research and learn about this rich cultural heritage.

But this field trip is not just an educational experience - it's also an opportunity to be part of the emerging Latino arts scene of the Inland Empire. The Cheech is a catalyst for the grassroots Riverside arts scene and encourages young Latino artists to bloom. Visitors of all ages are welcome to engage with the art and participate in art education programs at The Cheech's core.
